It’s another day. I wake up on the wrong side of the bed.
My friends all say, to look for a different bed instead.
I haven't felt this way. It’s colder than December.

It's 4 o'clock, and an army of kids they stagger home.
Some are alone, but others go walking arm and arm.
Their second chance ‘cause tonight everybody does get what they want.
What they want.

Through good and bad,
we always keep our heads above water.
And fool ourselves,
like leading cattle to the slaughter.
Feeling helpless now.
The ground moves back as I go forward.
